Depending on the court, whether it’s in Cincinnati or one of the surrounding counties, you can continue the case at arraignment for about two weeks to find an attorney.
However, I tell all my prospective clients that the clock starts ticking at the moment of arrest and you should get an attorney as soon as possible – to file motions to preserve evidence and make any other motions that are appropriate prior to entering a plea.
Failure to do so can prejudice the outcome of your case.
If you or a family member have been arrested on DUI in the Greater Cincinnati area and need assistance with an upcoming court appearance in Butler, Clermont, Hamilton or Warren Counties, give us a call at our 24 Hour Emergency Number at 513.333.0014 for affordable and professional help.
